DETAILED DESIGN OF SEWERAGE SYSTEM OF ROSU VILLAGE, CAHUL DISTRICT

Origin of funding: Total project cost is 960000 euro. The project is divided into two phases. In the first phase will be implemented central route of 19 km. The Government of Germany comes up with a funding of 770000 euro. In the second stage the Government of Romania comes with a co-financing of 190000 euro.

Detailed description of project :
The main objective of the project is construction of sewerage system in Rosu village. Detailed design envisages construction of sewer network of 19 km, 4 pumping stations and pressure pipelines from them. Wastewater from residential buildings and public buildings of the village by gravity goes to sewage pumping stations, through which consistently are pumped the sewer system of Cahul city. Wastewater disposal is 112,4 m3 per day and 41026 m3 per year.

Detailed description of the project :
- Construction of the new external sewerage network (1,4-2 km) and manholes in Copceac village, with connection to the network the hospital, kindergarten and gymnasium.
- Renovation of the existing sewerage network (1,8- 2,0 km) and 50 manholes.
- Renovation of the sewage pumping station and its equipment — 1 unit.
- Design of the sewage water treatment plant (bio-type, with capacity of 95-105 m3/day), foreseeing the electricity network construction for the sewage pumping station and sewage water treatment plant.
- Water supply for the sewage pumping station and sewage water treatment plant.
- Vertical systematization and arrangement of the sanitary zones of the sewage pumping station and sewage water treatment plant.
- Restoration of the damaged roads surfaces according to the existing construction.
- Topographical study of 1,5 ha.

Detailed description of project :
- Field investigation and verification of all pipe routes in all modules based on the Conceptual Design developed by Keller-Bliesner Engineering (USA).
- Topographical survey (Cross sections for each PS, detailed survey at scale 1:500 for each planned location for PS, detailed survey at scale 1:500 for DD of power line and service road on the eastern part of the service canal).
- Perform two drillings of 10m each to complete the geotechnical investigations.
- Hydrologic investigation.
- Detailed Design of River Inlet and Service Canal for CZ North and CZ South (river intake channel, intake pipes, intake head sluice gate and respective concrete structures, level control gate structure etc).
- Detailed Design for modules N3-N7, S1-S4 and related structures (Fish Protection screen, Concrete box and deck, Vertical Turbine Pumps with VFD, Control system (open and above ground): air / vacuum relief valves, pressure gauges, filtration system, hydraulic valve with combination pressure reducing \ check valve (to be confirmed); butterfly valve, Z leg to the main line, Security Fence and gate, with 45° angle at top, facing outside). Main Lines, Delivery off-takes, Tertiary lines.
- Detailed Design for SPD-4 and SPD5 drainage pumping plants, main and secondary canals.
- Detailed Design for the electrical power supply for CIS CZ for all 17 irrigation modules, initially for 9 irrigation modules and 2 drainage pumping stations, and eventually for 8 additional irrigation modules pumping stations.
Status of the project: The project was successfully implemented in 2015.

Detailed description of the project : In 2008 “Intexnauca” SA, in frame of another contract, developed detailed design package, including relevant engineering surveys according to Moldovan standards. In 2013 appears a necessity in adaptation of the project according to ERBD standards because of intended foreign investors. Contract envisages :
- Examination and inspection of area, analysis of changes since 2008 (L-38 km);
- Analysis of the available materials «Feasibility study», supplement with necessary materials and information;
- Decrease of negative impacts on the environment and socio-cultural component residents of adjacent to the road villages;
- Adjustment of detailed design documentation to ERBD format for necessary investments;
As well as writing of technical specifications, design reports, bill of quantities etc.

Detailed description of the project :
Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) has been requested to
assist Moldova with transitioning to High Value Agriculture (HVA) for the purpose of increasing production of high value-added fruit and vegetable, by the rehabilitation of some selected irrigation schemes.
The main objective of the project is the rehabilitation of 11 Centralized Irrigation Schemes (CIS), 5 on the banks of the River Prut (Western Moldova) and 6 on the banks of the River Nistru (Eastern Moldova), for an overall extension of 15,500 ha. The present conditions of the pipe network and pumping stations, just allow for partial service of the system in the best preserved systems, while the majority of these facilities deteriorated well beyond the limits within which any rehabilitation can be envisaged.
Name of consortium members: Agriconsulting Europe SA (Belgium), SWS Consulting Engineering SRL (Italy), HYDEA S.p.A. (Italy), BRL Ingénierie (France).
Type of services provided by Intexnauca SA : topographic survey, geotechnical and hydrologic investigation, underwater investigation of all suction pipes, technical expertise of pumping station buildings, drawings and technical specifications for construction works, bill of quantities and cost estimates, author supervision of the construction works.
The scope of work that was performed by Intexnauca SA for initial 6 CSIs with total number of 16 pumping stations (Lopatna CIS, Criuleni CIS, Jora de Jos CIS, Puhaceni CIS, Roscani CIS and Cosnita CIS) located along Nistru river can be summarized as follow:
- Geotechnical investigation along pipeline alignments in order to determine the requirement for geological stability and foundation conditions, and to establish the geotechnical characteristic and design parameter for pipes, execution of 3-m deep trial pit excavation along pipes including laboratory tests.
- Hydrologic investigation with determination of the water levels of the Dniester River 5 and 90% probability on stage I of the alignment of head pumping stations and with determination of the ice thickness.
- Underwater survey with the definition of hatchway of suction pipe of pumping stations with topographic bound to existing platforms; graphic materials in which must be displayed water intake configuration; cross section from the bank to the bottom; cross section on each fish protection structure, composition of an estimate (bill of quantity) for the production of underwater technical works, which will become part of the design and estimate documentation for subcontracting.
- Technical expertise of pumping station buildings with definition of the current technical state of a building or a construction, detection of defects, determination of suitability and operability of construction of buildings and structures for the purpose of definition of possibility of their further safe operation, developments of recommendations about structures restoration and strengthening, determination of the performance of structures, prediction of their behavior in the future.
- Detail Design for the rehabilitation of civil works facilities including, protection dike, pumping stations buildings, services buildings, water basins and related ancillary facilities;
- Detail Design for the rehabilitation of electromechanical works facilities including, HV overhead power line, transformers, MV/LV lines, pumps, motors, switchboards, lighting system, cabling, piping, valves, cranes and related ancillary facilities.
Status of the project: The project was successfully implemented in 2015.

Detailed description of the project : Detailed design project of the solid waste landfill for the following settlements: Hrusova, Ciopleni and Chetroasa villages from com. Hrusova, Boscana and Mardareuca villages from com. Boscana, Cosnita village situated in Criuleni disctrict of Republic of Moldova.
Project provides the following basic technical and economic requirements, technological and technical solutions for construction:
- Master Plan of the solid waste landfill with graphic materials;
- Observation boreholes;
- Reservoir for collecting the filtrate;
- Water storage tank (4×50 m3) for fire protection purposes;
- Biothermic pit Beccari (structure for disposing of animal carcasses);
- Access road of 1 km length with macadam surfacing;
- Water pipeline to the solid waste landfill to ensure water supply for household and industrial needs;
- On-site utilities (water supply and sanitation with a cesspool);
- The power supply system according to technical requirements issued by Regional Electrical Supplier;
- Platforms for disinfecting of the vehicles wheels;
- Building with engineering utilities and technological equipment for sorting of solid waste;
- Auxiliary building for service personnel;
- Vehicle scales;
- Technological scheme of filling of solid waste disposal sites;
- Recultivation of solid waste storage site;
- Platforms for the installation of containers for the collection of garbage in settlements;
- Environmental compartment;
- Plan of construction organization.

Originea fondurilor: În 2013 are loc lansarea proiectului „IMPEFO — îmbunătăţirea cooperării transfrontaliere între Republica Moldova şi România privind produsele petroliere şi alimentare». Serviciul Vamal al Republicii Moldova a beneficiat de 2,35 mil euro, aceasta fiind primul proiect major din Programul Operaţional Comun România-Ucraina-Republica Moldova 2007-2013, care prevedea, construcţia şi dotarea cu echipament modern a Laboratorului Serviciului Vamal al Republicii Moldova.
Descrierea detailiată a proiectului:
Obiectul proiectat (construcţie nouă) este amplasat la hotarul de sud – est al Chişinăului bd. Dacia 49/6. Clădirea laboratorului reprezintă un edificiu cu 2 etaje cu mansardă și demisol împodobit cu două vitralii simetrice, verandă centrală cu clumbe, cu un acoperiș piramidal cu o configurație complicată și în întregime reprezintă un ansamblu arhitectural unic.
Principalii indicatorii de construcție:
- Volumul construcțiilor – 2830,0 m3 ;
- Suprafața construcției — 308,0 m2 ;
- Suprafața totală – 989,0 m2 ;
- Suprafața activă – 907.0 m2. .
Obiectul proiectat este destinat cercetărilor de laborator a produselor alimentare și petroliere pentru Serviciului Vamal al Republicii Moldova.
În componența laboratorului intră următoarele subdiviziuni:
- laboratorul produselor alimentare,
- laboratorul produselor petroliere,
- oficii, încăperi tehnice,
- depozite.
În demisolul clădirii este prevăzută amplasarea încăperilor tehnice și de depozit. La primul etaj al clădirii sunt amplasate încăperile de primire a mostrelor, oficii și camera de primire a produselor alimentare. La etajul doi sunt prevăzute încăperile laboratorului produselor alimentare. La etajul trei (mansarda) sunt amplasate încăperile laboratorului produselor petroliere.
